Rockaway Borough is a community located in the northern portion of Morris County known for its shopping, cuisine, and recreation. Fine formal dining, casual atmosphere, quaint taverns, pubs, and cafes, many located in historic buildings through the town.
Nestled between two major thoroughfares, Interstate 80 and State Highway 46 the Borough is about 35 miles west of New York City and is home to approximately 6800 residents.
Formed in 1894 when it split from the larger Rockaway Township, Rockaway Borough has established itself as a hub of industry, commerce, and culture in the area.
